Big XII and AAC come together, partially. Bowlsby gets the boot, Aresco comes in as AD. Aresco pulls a Craig Thompson and screws over the AAC, while bringing along Cincy, UCF, Memphis, SMU, Houston, Navy, USF. BYU gets an invitation for all sports, and the New Big XII also adds Gonzaga and Wichita for basketball. ESPN is not involved, since they don’t own the Big XII, and the sugar bowl and all the big tournament money stays in the conference. Big XII is now the Big XVI, but probably rebrands to something different.
