Jazz get a guy that would have been a tremendous value at 30 and manage to get him anyways at 40 but pick up 2 picks in the process. They also save a pretty big chunk in salary.

Those two picks aren't insignificant either. Those could be important trade pieces as the Jazz get creative in the trade market.
