On Monday my older brother finally lost his battle with depression. He had been struggling bad with it for over 20 years and it finally got the best of him.
While he wasn’t always the biggest sports fan he does have a part in BYU football history as he played saxophone as a member of the Cougar marching band and preformed at the cotton bowl.
He leaves behind a wife and four young kids. His family struggled financially and he was their only source of income. In looking at their finances he did not have a good life insurance policy either.
We have set up a gofundme for his family and while the initial goal has been met already to pay for the funeral, anything above would greatly help the family as they start to piece back their life together. If you feel inclined anything would be very helpful for them.
