Huh? Like having two left shoes is more interesting. Look at any iconic college
team branding - USC, Penn State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Alabama, Texas, Ohio State etc.
None of them have two shades of their primary color. That’s just poor branding and design.
Would it be weird if Alabama had two colors of red? Or Texas had two colors of orange? Yes it would be weird and horrible.
