wearing cuffed pants to a dance, showing my cute ankles off to the world. I got looked over by the HC guards in their funny orange jackets. I almost got kicked out of the dance for it. It wasn't too long after that when we were allowed to wear shorts. I'm sure it helped with the stink at dances.
