The game is what it is and for sure if we don’t fumble the game could have been different, but we will never know.

What we do know is what the OP talks about regarding the defense. Our offense was playing like crap in the 2nd qtr and our D was not stopping anyone.

I was so disappointed on the first possession of the 3rd quarter where sure we only gave up a FG, but they took off 8 minutes. No adjustments were made and it’s been a problem with Tuiaki.

Even with the fumbles if our D comes out and adjust, makes some plays, and forces a punt, the game could have had a different result too.

After this the defense played great, blitzed, adjusted etc. Why now and not on this 1st possession?

Let’s hope we see better result from all areas of the game on Saturday.
