I'm not entirely sure how to explain it but with the lose to Boise there is no pressure to keep winning and with the win over Utah and Big 12 invite I already feel that the season is a complete success. More wins will be fun but a loss to Baylor or Virginia or USC really doesn't change much going forward. BYU will go to the Independence Bowl (unless ESPN pulls a rabbit out of their hat) and the Cougars will have in-state bragging rights for at least 3 years heading into Big 12 play.

I honestly don't know if I've ever watched a BYU game just for fun. In the past it always seemed to be some life or death thing for BYU to win or some deal where I was so frustrated with the previous losses that I couldn't enjoy it. I realize those are personal issues with taking games I don't even play way to seriously but tomorrow should be an interesting experience.
