They screamed to the top of their lungs a good portion of the way. I knew it would happen, it had happened before on shorter trips. My wife did everything she could to calm them to no avail.

Before we left I went and bought two sets of noise cancelling beats. I gave her a pair as a surprise. She was mad I sent the money. She was even more mad when I was happily driving down the freeway while she was banging her head against the window listening to them scream. I told her to put her bests on. She felt like a terrible mother. Once she gave in and out the beats on she started to enjoy herself.

Sometimes they just need to scream it out, it doesn’t mean you need to punish yourself by listening to it.
