Source - Six schools officially apply to join American Athletic Conference

The AAC is expected to send Florida Atlantic, Charlotte, North Texas, UTSA, Rice and UAB formal letters by the end of the week detailing the terms of expansion after the schools officially requested to join the conference, a source told ESPN.

Nope. They got hosed. Frankly I liked the AAC and Aresco. I hate that the MWC

I agree. Its gone from a top level G5 to a FCS++ like Sunbelt and CUSA.
