Hey, they made bank and got millions of people to pick up a book. That shouldn't
be ignored.
That said, the movies are absolutely cringe from open to close. Every one of them. They are fabulous and amazing for the sheer amount of cringe they were able to pack into each one.
That takes talent and skill. It you haven't watched them, you are truly missing out on a masterpiece of cringe.
