Don’t believe he is a true sports guy. That’s just his gig. And don’t get me wrong, he’s quite good at it. But his gig is to make bold statements and try to back it up (even when he doesn’t believe it half the time.) If he could get any other gig and be as successful he would do that.

DP would be talking sports even if the only people listening were friends at a BBQ. That’s the difference between the two.
