My uneducated thought on that was that Roderick was protecting his QB by asking him to do less and rely on the RB
If true, I don't why we would need to protect the QB when we have Romney behind him. I don't mean protect from injury, I mean call a game that protects the QB from exposing his weaknesses.
I am not saying I think Romney is better, but there is a downturn in Jaren's production since he returned that makes me think Romney might be the better option right now for the offense.
