I'm not saying that FB shouldn't be acquisitive or should abandon current platforms—but I think they'll be much better off if they integrate with or acquire the next TikTok (in much the same way they acquired Insta) instead of trying to remake FB. If experiences with email providers, chat rooms/messaging services, and social media have taught us anything, it should be that once people leave a digital platform, they rarely go back.
