Does the committee actually select the teams for each bowl?
Or do they pick the 4 playoff teams and select the final ranking, then it’s up to the Peach and Fiesta Bowls to pick the at-large teams as long as they are in the top 12?
I’m not saying the Fiesta would pick BYU over Michigan St if they were 10 and BYU was 11, but if they thought BYU would be a bigger draw to Arizona, isn’t it the bowl’s choice?
