referee to change their decision for something he had a clear view of. Standard protocol is to let the referee make his decision and move on at that point.
Everybody knows this, but it's still worth repeating. Referees can't be more than human. Anybody who picks up the whistle and works to become a serious referee will inevitably miss a call that impacts a big game at some point in their career. Until we have AI making all of our decisions for us, it's simply a part of the game. There's not a soul on CB or anywhere else that can rightfully claim they'd do any better.
