You really think that the reason people don't "respect" the dude's consistent play and stats is because he shoved Morris in the back in retaliation for a hard foul? I mean - Malone isn't talking about respect as far as calling him "sir". He's talking about recognizing his play.

I suspect that Malone is much more likely to be accurate than you are. Jokic doesn't make any "sexy" plays. He just fills that stat sheet. But he isn't dunking, making tons of 3's from way deep, etc.

I also think that Malone is underestimating the amount of respect people have for Jokic.
