Have a client who does taxes for a living also lives in Vegas and does video
poker the rest of the year. She makes more doing that than she does doing taxes now.
She has asked me or my brother who lives in Vegas if we wanted to learn. They have a class over at the South Point Casino where they teach you how to do it. I asked why a casino would allow that, she said that most people can't end up getting it and end up losing.
She was felt that my brother and I could easily learn how to do it and be successful. She owns 3 homes in Vegas, but until probably 6 years ago, stayed almost all the time in a Casino for free. She got comps all the time, and she gave me and my wife free tickets when we were down there.
