actual guesses until word 4, but I've gotten it in 4 almost every time. Once in 5, once in 3. Never taken to 6. My strategy is good for winning, not for lucking into a 2-3 guess win.

I guess as many different letter early as possible. Something like "poems", "fancy", then "light" or "right" to eliminate a different letter with each letter of the first 3 words.
