They have more freedoms with Mando for sure.

For Boba, they are continuing the character arc from the Clone Wars. Basically a guy orphaned, trying to find his place with the right people only to strike it out as a lone wolf and a gun for hire. Which is where the series picks up. He was about trying to establish respect then, hence the theme in this series.

Knowing all that, I’m ok that he is older and less action oriented character at this point
