If I have an LLC in one state, can I pay sales tax in another state? Or do I

need to create an LLC in every state I make sales in?

My business does sales in several states, but my LLC is in Idaho (though I live in Utah, it's complicated haha). Just wondering if I can only have my LLC in Idaho, collect sales tax for my business in Utah, then pay sales tax in Utah through my account in Idaho.

I'm in the same boat and my understanding is it needs to be in each state.

Lots of states have rules about when you have to pay out of state sales tax. For
