Here's where we stand now with a potential depth chart:
1. Williams/Hall/Stewart
2. SJ/Saunders
3. Knell/Toolson/Hayhurst
4. GG/Fouss
5. Fouss/Atiki
We're scary thin at the 4 and 5 and having to use GG or Fouss at the 4 for extensive lengths wouldn't be good, neither player are natural at that position. Getting Allick would give us a true 4 with the ability to score consistently from the perimeter or in the paint and allow GG to play primarily on the wing and Fouss in the post (their natural positions).
Fouss needs to add a perimeter element to his game like Yoeli did but he's not there yet. Because we don't have a 4 on the roster right now getting Allick is a bigger priority than Davis based on position need but I totally get the buzz a prolific scorer like Davis would bring. No game is out of reach with a guy like that on the roster that could at any time explode for 40 pts vs an opponent.
Getting Davis could impact important playing time for the RMs and create a jam of players at the 2 and 3 position but would be worth it in the win column.
