Trent Whiting is maybe the best basketball player to ever come out of Idaho. He is a high levil executive in a very successful business and would take a salary cut if he was the BYU head coach. Amari has one more year before she graduates. I am surprised Amber wanted the job but I believe her and Trent's DNA is basketball and it is part of the reason this will be a fantastic hire for BYU. She checks all the boxes when you think of it and with his 12 year career in professional basketball and his dynamic personality and focus Trent also will be an asset. I don't get the dog stuff either but have seen it before pretty funny stuff.
