If renting is easier as you say, and people choose to do it, what horrible problem is this creating?
If your point is that everyone should just buy a house and zero people should rent, how feasible do you think that is? Even if every single person could in theory buy a house, inventory shortages against that demand would ensure that prices adjust accordingly so that not everyone could buy a house. This is the result of an interesting phenomenon called supply and demand.
You also didn’t consider geographic location before widely dismissing all renters as suckers. I guess everyone who lives in LA or NY or any other big city should just stop being a complete clowns and shell out $3+ million for a house. Harvest the interest deductions!
