services-first brand over a hardware-first brand. Apple is incentivized to lock you into their ecosystem because a lot of it is proprietary and only available on their hardware. Google makes money from their services. So I have the freedom to choose hardware. I have products from Apple, Google, Lenovo, etc. They all support Google services.
