British GP was extremely solid - the final 10 laps of racing was incredible
- Happy for Sainz. Good for him and solid drive (first bad start, notwithstanding). I love how he wanted nothing of this team orders business near the end and just went for the win.

- Strong drive for Hamilton. The racing between him, Leclerc, Perez, Alonso, was exactly what you want to see in a race. Precise, aggressive, back and forth. Thought for a moment he might sneak into second or even have a remote chance at P1, but incredible drive in any case.

- Also very happy to finally see Mick in the points. Good for him. Almost snuck by Verstapppen at the line (in a damaged car, it still). After a bunch of close points finishes, finally got it.

- That first start was wild. There were so many bad starts that it seems like half the field was in slow motion and the other half was forced to weave. I haven’t gone back to look but my gut tells me that Russell was probably most in the wrong but I’ll have to see what replays show. Almost unbelievable that Jhou walks away from that crash. I thought it was bad news watching live seeing his car skid upside down like that. Guess that’s another of long list of reasons for the halo.

- This feels like another time when Ferrari kind of screwed Leclerc on strategy. That they didn’t pit him really cost him. The window to react and pit him with the safety car was quick, but it was there. Obviously that was the move to pit to softs so it kind of left Leclerc hanging vulnerable out there.

- My wife “wow that guy looks almost exactly like Tom Cruise”. Me “yes there is a reason why”
