So every year my parents host a huge 4th of July party for my Mom’s relatives
With all of the assorted grandkids it was up to 90 people this year - most of which we really only see once a year. My 16-year old and I just had the following exchange:
Him: So Dad, were all of the people here today related to us?
Me: Hmmmm….pretty much, I mean some of them are friends who kind of tag along.
Him: Interesting. Which ones were friends?
Me: honestly, I have no idea - lost track ages ago. Why?
Him: Well there were some pretty cute girls…….
Me:
