Makes sense. The PAC knows that with BYU in a P5 it hurts them. It kills any
Value Utah had and hurts their #1 argument to LDS recruits.
The move to exclude BYU was strategic and about more than just getting the SLC media market.
In the West you had the PAC 10 and BYU. BYU has strong a presence in every PAC state and the PAC has never liked that. We sell out their stadiums when they can't.
