He had his shots in August 2021 and came down with COVID during Xmas break. First 3000 meter he felt terrible (which was first of Feb), and I think it affected his lungs for a while afterword. He finally got back to a full 75-80 mile weeks this summer. He also had a strange hive thing he dealt with all last summer (2021) before that season after his initial bought with COVID, that strain (alpha) seemed to be one of the hardest on everyone. Strange thing though, he had his first bought with COVID Oct 2020, then ran at the NJCAA championships and finished 11 overall and it didn't seem to have had a long term affect on him. However, he struggled in heat a lot more ever since that first bought with COVID. If it gets over 80 degrees he really struggles even now.

If Lucas and Aidan are dealing with COVID related issues it could be really anything. That explains a great deal now whey they are running some younger guys a lot more this year in their first two invites.
