Joe Montana revealed himself as the arrogant jerk he is with his criticism of it and making fun of Rudy in real life only confirmed the real Rudy story his teammates thought he was a joke so good for him being the one people remember from that era. He literally was bullied by his teammates in real life, yet chose to make sure the movie doesn’t highlight that, but instead gives credit to his teammates for refusing to play if he didn’t suit up, which didn’t really happens.
