Essentially if you took a cyclist or marathon runner, body builder, swimmer, Crossfitter, etc., and put them through a ton of different exercises like a 3k run, one rep deadlift, max pull-ups, biking, chopping wood, the crossfitter may not ever take first but will never take last place. Will alway be near the top and never near the bottom where the cyclist may win the 3k but would come in dead last on the deadlift.
