Your food service at the football games is terrible. Years ago I got a Costa Vida salad at a BYU football game and it was maybe 1/2 the size of a salad I normally enjoy from a normal Costa Vida location. It frustrated me enough that I avoided buying Costa Vida at football games for a long time.

Well last night I gave you a chance at redemption. Using your app, the only option available was a pork burrito even though I saw that others waiting through the insanely long line could get salads. I decided to use the mobile app and get the burrito to save time.

To be honest, I could barely tell that the smaller-than-normal burrito I received was pork because there was almost no pork in it. The filling was 98% rice and beans. In addition, there was a pitiful portion of lettuce and absolutely no pico de gallo on the side.

Now, I understand that you have limited time to serve out the meals, so the meals have to be pre-made and it therefore makes sense to have limited options with no customizations. I also understand that there are additional costs involved with serving in the stadium, so you need to charge more for the food. What I don’t get is how you can sell something in the stadium that is so drastically inferior to what anyone would expect to get at any of your other locations. The advertising you are doing on the field is getting completely undermined by selling inferior weak-sauce products in the stands.

Charge me more if you have to but sell me the awesome burrito that made you successful, stuffed with lots of meat and served with generous sides of lettuce and pico de gallo. Please fix this so that some day down the road when I move on and give you another chance this horrible cycle of disappointment can end.
