Probably not, but they can agree to make the change at a later date
So come to the agreement in the new CBA, but say it doesn’t go into effect until day 2026. I think you’ll see pushback from teams that have already traded away 2024 and 2025 picks. Less teams have traded away 2026 and beyond picks.
