I love dogs, and I cried my eyes out when we put down our lab a few years ago. And I'm glad other people have dogs I can enjoy. But man it's nice not to deal with them. Went on vacation last week, didn't have to think about it at all. No vets, no shedding, no crap, no nothing.

They bring some joy in your life but for me, not worth all the downside.
