Don't look at the last 2 seasons as "the state of their football program."

Just like 2017 isn't the state of our program. Stanford has a great history, two NC's, and Shaw became the first Stanford coach in 80 years to win three conference titles and only the third ever in program history. It's a down couple of years. They will be back. Recruits still want to go there.
