Once he retires, it's very unlikely that they'll stay at the same level. And once they have 1 or 2 down seasons, the enthusiasm and support of their fanbase will quickly diminish.

Just look at what has happened to their basketball program. They used to be a basketball school. They played in the national championship game in 1998. Now they can't even fill 10% of their arena.

The fanbase is full of blowhard fair weather fans. As soon as they start to experience some adversity, they'll disappear.
