The defense was never very good but it was never all that bad either. Until
This year. It wasn't bad enough to fire him after we win 10 games in back to back years.
And when the defense showed to be one of the worst in college football this year, he took the defense out of tuiakis hands and started preparing for a new defense for next year.
It's unrealistic and unreasonable to think we'd be firing a DC after our 2 best seasons in a decade.
