Nope. I charge at home for $0.22/kWh or free from my solar panels
(solar panels paid for themselves in 4.5 years so now the electricity they produce is free). Even if I'm charging from the grid, I get 280 miles on an 85% charge (about 120 kwh). So 120 kWh at $0.22 is $26 to go 280 miles. In my gas truck, I paid $75 to go 280 miles. So I'm saving about $50 for every fill-up (and even more if its from my solar panels).
