a re-design. I park there for basketball games and to exit on the top level you turn right onto campus drive. The problem is there are streams of pedestrians coming down the hill on the sidewalk and many entering into the parking structure right there where there is no walk way. It’s very difficult to exit safely. Once you do exit you hope there aren’t pedestrians jutting into the street in the dark. It’s always a little sketchy. Needs a re-design and probably warrants a traffic cop directing traffic and people down there.
I’ve seen a few tense traffic incidents this season. Tonight some guy in an suv pulled in front of a group of fans walking down the sidewalk. The pedestrian punches his bumper as he drives by. Other guy stops in the middle of the street (stopping traffic) and gets out to yell at the guy. Swearing, threats, name calling ensue.
Just drive slow and be courteous like 99% of people. But BYU really needs to figure that spot out before someone gets injured or worse there.
