It shouldn’t affect driveability but you should have it looked at.

Normally it’s an easy fix. I’ve had mine come on when there were issues with things like brakes and alignment and once those where repaired or replaced the light went off.

2015. We bought it used in 2019. It's only got 55K on it. No other problems.

I’ve had that light coming on in my truck for five years. I’ve ignored it. But that’s not necessarily a good thing.🙂

I don't know what limp mode is, but sometimes it will vibrate as it seems to be

The traction control automatically resets when you turn off your car for a few minutes.

It could also be a wheel speed sensor. Those are pretty easy as well.
