Unfortunately it's pretty hard to replace factory head units in cars these

days because of the way they are integrated with everything in the car (door chimes, infotainment systems, engine noise canceling, dashboard integration, steering wheel controls, etc.). Often it requires a completely custom system made for that specific make/model. I'd be surprised if you were getting that for $250.

Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony, etc don't have the same issues as OEM head units.

Only problem then is phone gets warm in your pocket. It also uses battery a lot. But worth it.
