"BYU could've certainly been the 800 lbs gorrilla pounding the table on issues
...and they just weren't. (BYU) was collaborative and worked well with the other WCC schools"
This was a quote from Gloria Nevarez the current MWC Commissioner and former WCC Commissioner. She is a breath of fresh air compared to her predecessor Hair Thompson and gave a fantastic, honest interview with Monty.
Sorry Utes, BYU is not "hard to work with".
She came into her role mentally prepared to lose SDSU and is trying to plan accordingly. She also thinks Gonzaga is a great fit and prepared to go to the Big12. A unique perspective being their recent commissioner.
I really like her and would like to see her succeed, but she's going to have a tough round ahead when the PAC explodes and tries to potentially snipe/merge with more MWC schools (currently 11 members).
