My daughter and her doubles partner made it into the high school state tennis championship for girls doubles here in Maryland, which will be played Saturday. She's just a freshman and her partner a junior.

Quarterfinals and Semis were today. They won their first match 7-6,6-1 and the second match 6-4,6-4. It took them a minute to settle down in the first match before they started feeling comfortable.

Unfortunately, I'll have to miss the match. My son has a soccer tournament this weekend in Williamsburg, so my wife, who is an assistant coach on the team will have to cheer for me.
