Coming to your high school events is being hypocritical? I don’t see that. And there’s no way to not travel.
You are grasping at straws here to be critical IMO.
The church and BYU are doing their best to uphold a principle they (and I) hold as important. It comes with consequences. But I think they’ve been pretty consistent despite those consequences.
