I don’t know much about what coach decided to not give Holker
The opportunities he wanted to stay in the program. But if Clark was the one that was pushing to not make Holker a bigger part of the offense. I bet that is a big reason he was let go. It would be frustrating as a head coach to see a TE on your team leave due to not gettting opportunities and be one of the top TEs the next year.
Not saying this is what happen with coach Clark. I have no idea. But it wouldn’t surprise me

Holker would have seen more time had he been patient and not chewed out his OC in the most unprofessional of ways.
