This doesn't mention it, but what if teams played an unequal number of times?
For example, what if BYU is tied with Kansas in the standings, but BYU and Kansas only played once (@Kansas). Is that head-to-head matchup used to break the tie even though BYU didn't get a chance to play them at home? Or, if the head-to head matchup record doesn't break the tie, what if they've played the conference champion a different number of times? In the above example, BYU only played Houston once, where Kansas will have played them twice. How do you compare a one game record to a two game record?

In a 14 team league with teams playing each other once or twice, it can get messy.
