Emanuel Miller is a pretty classy dude…
…plays super hard with a motor like Richie Saunders’ but several times watched him stop and show good sportsmanship. In the first half TCU was shooting a FT and he was in the lane next to Waterman. The FT missed and Waterman stepped wrong and turned his ankle and went down giving Miller a clear path to the rebound and easy put back. Miller started to run down court to get back on D and saw Waterman on the ground holding his ankle, he ran back and helped Waterman off the court and to the timeout huddle on the BYU sideline and patted him on the back.

Early In the 2nd half a BYU player fell in the paint (I think it was Knell) and he reached down to help Knell up. Aside from some annoying flopping by their little PG’s that got rewarded early in the game with a bunch of FT’s (Nelson Jr and Anderson), they played really hard as a team without doing a lot of the cheap crap (grabbing and holding) that we’ve seen from most of the Big12. They hustled and moved their feet and tried to beat us to spots rather than doing all that grabbing and holding us like UCF, Cinc, Baylor, etc.
