with all the scamming, i sold a car and said in the ad, if you don't have an account at MACU, i won't sell you my car. i met him at macu, watched the check being written and immediately deposited it. turns out he had a macu account. this may seem like overkill but no way no how am i going to accept a cashier's check without being there when it's written. i wonder if there are any car escrow companies... maybe a biz opportunity
