It may sound nerdy to some, but it's actually a big deal.
BYU beat schools like Georgia, NC State, Michigan State, Kansas State, Texas A&M and Virginia Tech.
When my wife participated in it years ago she won first place in her event, which then led to a number of job opportunities right out of college. She now owns her own landscape design business.
