You don't need to completely change basketball w/ ELAM ending! One minor change
fixes the foul fest at the end. Give the team that is fouled the option: 1) free throws or 2) the ball out of bounds with the shot clock reset.
That fixes it. There would not be the massive foul fests and parades to the free throw line. And, it maintains the historical integrity of the game.
