I’ve had tsa Precheck for 6-7 years and global entry for 4-5. I’ve never used a
Card in the first place. I think I have my global entry card somewhere in a drawer, but I don’t recall ever having a tsa Precheck card.

Some international airports have had the facial recognition for a years now… where you don’t have to scan your passport at all. Just walk up and get your photo taken.

For tsa, many airports just use your ID without scanning your boarding pass, and many have installed the face readers, but I’ve seen them offline as much as I’ve seen them used.
